On 11 March 2011, CCHR hosted a public forum on Human Rights and Development in Tboung Tuek Village, Mean Rith Commune, Sandan District, Kampong Thom Province. The forum was attended by 418 participants from nine communities from the four surrounding provinces.

The Cambodian Center for Human Rights (CCHR) organized a public forum on Human Rights and Development in Snoul village, Snoul Commune, Snoul District, Kratie Province on August 19 2010. Seven guest speakers participated, including representatives from political parties and local authorities. The audience raised concerns and asked questions about an economic land concession that had been granted to a number of different companies, resulting in land conflicts in many villages in Snoul District.
