On 21 July 2011, Cambodian Center for Human Rights held a public forum on Human Rights and Development in Chomlak village, Kagnchor commune, Chhlung district, Kratie province. 446 villagers participated in the forum. Guest speakers at forum are parliamentarians from four parties, local authority, deputy provincial governor, representative from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishery, representative from the Ministry of Environment, and representatives from civil society organizations. Problems raised by the villagers at the forum are as follow:
• Some companies took the land from the villagers
• Villagers have not received social land concession.
• Anarchic checkpoint
• High electricity price.
