Factsheets
CCHR produces 4 fact sheets every month, covering one of four topics:

Rule of Law Series

This series of two-page fact sheets reviews Cambodian laws - past, present and future - and provides an overview of CCHR’s key concerns and recommendations, in addition to some background information on the rationale behind the law and the consultation process to date (if applicable).  CCHR classifies each law according to whether it is consistent with the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia (the "Constitution") and applicable domestic and international law.  Laws that are classified green are acceptable in the opinion of CCHR; laws classified yellow contain a number of concerns that should be reviewed and amended; and laws classified red are draconian or in violation of the Constitution and/or applicable domestic and international law, and should therefore be rejected, annulled or re-drafted, as appropriate.

  Fundamental Freedoms Series

This series of two-page fact sheets looks at fundamental freedoms as enshrined in international law ratified by Cambodia.  The fact sheet provides an overview of a certain topic in relation to a fundamental freedom, setting out some of CCHR's key concerns and recommendations, in addition to some background information on the fundamental freedom in question and its status in Cambodia.

Case Studies Series

This series of two-page fact sheets takes a selection of case studies that CCHR considers interesting, relevant, and reflecting a certain human rights angle.  The fact sheet provides an overview of the case in question, setting out some of CCHR's key concerns and recommendations, in addition to some background information on the case.

 Institutions Review Series

This series of two-page fact sheets reviews Cambodian institutions and provides an overview of CCHR’s key concerns and recommendations.  CCHR examines each institution according to how the institution is composed legally, how it operates, whether it abides by the principle of separation of powers, and other legal and constitutional considerations. When institutions are found to have a number of problems, including when their independence and/or integrity is compromised or when they are in violation of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia and/or applicable domestic and international law, CCHR proposes recommendations related to their legal make-up and/or structure.
