Public Forums

CCHR records all Community Hearings and Public Forums. They are later edited for quality purposes and broken down into three 1 hour programs that are broadcast on 7 radio stations across Cambodia. The 1 hour programs are comprised of 55 minutes of recorded dialogue and 5 minutes on Cambodian Laws and Legislation that relate to the issues being raised by members of the community. There is one additional 1 hour broadcast live every Saturday and Sunday where invited guest discuss human rights violations and address specific legal and strategic questions and concerns raised by community members at Hearings or Forums, or sometimes during a CCHR facilitated training event, in the context of Cambodian Law. Each Community Hearing and Public Forum is broadcast 3 times.Community Hearings and Public Forums are also often broadcast live on Radio Free Asia (RFA), Voice of Democracy (VOD) and Voice of America (VOA).
